Ballroom Parkrose Showcase raises over $2500

On Friday, December 11th, Ballroom Parkrose hosted it's first ever Showcase as part of our annual effort to raise monies and awareness for Charities. Our goal was to match our efforts of the past year: $2500.
Congratulations to all who worked so hard to make this happen. From the performers to the chefs, from the audience members to the people running errands for us at the last minute, everybody contributed so much and WE DID IT! We riased over $2500. for the Oregon Food Bank and for the Humane Society. Additionally, we collected food for the OR Food Bank as well as toys, blankets, towels, etc. for the Humane Society.
This was an extremely expensive fund-raiser, and not all of the recepts have come in. Still, we know we're going to be over $2500 - probably closer to $2700. when we get to the final tally. We'll keep you posted.
As for a full review of the affair, we're working on that now. If anybody had any photos from the event, I'd love to see them.
Thanks again to everybody who helped us achieve this worthy goal.
Don't forget: Our regular (regular?) "Last-Friday-Of-The-Month" Party falls on Christmas night this year. We hope to see you all there - if not sooner -
